adobe acrobat will not convert pub 2003 files

Robin

I've got all the updates available for adobe acrobat standard edition and for
microsoft publisher 2003. The adobe will not convert my high definition
graphics in my publisher file. Any ideas what I can do to solve this?

Dear Robin,

save your work under another name.
Then open the saved work again and delete 50% of the graphics.
Do one test with only 1 page and run again.
If the PDF files is produced, the total of your pages / workfiles is to big
in size.
You can compress graphict to the level of 3 in a picture editor and the
result is good for prints.
If you did not use a graphic as a background, this must work.
Do the out test in rgb collor, not cmyk. Then you'l be shure it will work.
You can change later, if you are sure all the software is ok.
Hope this will help.

Distiller is always more reliable if you first print to a PostScript
file then distill that.

I have also had problems with Adobe Distiller. See my other replies to "PUB
to PDF", and "How to save graphics in resolution for commercial printing"
(Both in this newsgroup).

CutePDFEvl.exe was the answer to my prayers.
