i have just installed office 2003 onto my computer. the
problem is when i load word 2003 onto the screen a
message comes up about PDFMaker and wants me to go to
more information. i did that and it takes me to a
workaround. i followed the steps as list below.
1 quit your office 2003 program
2 click start and then click search
3 click all files and folders
4 in the all or part of the file name box, type
pdfmaker.dot, pdfmaker.xla, pdfmaker.ppa and click search
5 rename every occurrence of these files
A. right click the file, click rename, type a new name
for the file, and then press enter. for example rename
pdfmaker.dot to pdfmaker.old
all of that is easy but when i went to search for
PDFMaker.dot i came up with a total of 4 files
which one do i change. they are listed below
1 c:\program files\microsoft office\office\startup
2 c:\program files\microsoft office\office10\startup
3 c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\startup
4 c:\program files\adobe\acrobat 4.0\macros\office97
\startup
which of these four should i
