ADODB connection error

I'm getting the "Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005) Unspecified error"
I tried everything posible. I try to update the " Microsoft Jet 4.0
(Msjet40.dll) on the database server." but I'm already have the latest
version on my system, so, is anything else to do beside that and the temp
files? Thank you for any help...Paola
