Happy Friday all,
Access 2003 - I'm just trying to get my feet wet with ADP. I'm sure I've
already made a lot of mistakes, so bare with my crappy design. This is my
first attempt.
I have a website I designed in FrontPage. No problem. I created a db in
Access that I would like to use with said website. The site tracks the daily
exercise of my friends and I. Nothing spectacular and no real need for much
security. I uploaded my Access db to the site in a subfolder and linked to
it with the FrontPage wizard thingie. It does the job, but it isn't pretty
or powerful.
So, I want to design a webpage based on a ADP. I created a query that asks
for a username. When you type in your username it spits out your workouts.
1: any advice so far?
2: I can't add new records this way. It appears to be read only.
3: I want to be able to show a list of results (continuous forms) instead of
one record at a time. Where can I enable this?
I know this is kind of vague, so I appreciate your patience. Like I said,
this is my first time looking at this so any advice would be fantastic.
TIA
