I have 2 variables with historical data that I want to
chart to compare trends against each other.
Each variable has data that can be displayed daily,
monthly, quarterly, and annually. The goal: to be able to
graph the data (A vs B) by various time periods (monthly,
annually, etc.) and over different dates (2003-2000, 1995-
1985, etc), by only selecting the time period and dates
that they want to view.
Does anyone have suggestions on a good way to set this
up? Ideally, the person using the spreadsheet wanting to
view a chart of A VS B would only have to input the time
period (ex. monthly or annually) and date (ex. 2000-1995)
without having to go about this the long way(ie. clicking
on the chart button, then inputting all the variables,
etc.)
I appreciate any ideas and help.
