What's the command needed to type a raised 2 indicating "to the power of 2?"

Select the 2 and press Ctrl+Shift+Plus sign (top row, not the number pad
plus sign). Or... press the key combo, type 2, then press the key combo a
2nd time to toggle it for for what you type thereafter.
