After the auto update 4/17, several programs do not work properly. Word will
not let me open existing files. Internet Explorer will not let me open the
drop-down box for websites. In both cases the program freezes and has to be
closed. How can this be fixed? I have tried three times to restore to three
prior dates, but to no avail---I get a message that it was not able to
restore.
