I was able to load everything at another wireless location and another
program I have SMARTftp loads to server just fine using this wireless
connection and port 21. If you think there is something other than firewall
please reply. I am beginning to think as well that it is the Netgear wireless
unit causing the problem
Thank you, FRED

The Netgear router incorporates a firewall that could be blocking HTTP
publishing.
HTTP publishing requires port 80 be opened for traffic in both
directions.
FTP and HTTP do not use the same ports or servers.

Thank you Ron. I am using the FTP protocol as a choice in Front page to load.
This takes port 21 as I understand. Comments.?

You may need to use Passive mode FTP - check the setting you have in
smartFTP. Passive mode is only available in FP2003.

FrontPage FTP does have problems working with some servers,
particularly if the connection is prone to breaks which FTP clients
usually manage to ignore.
