Phillip

After applying two hotfixes to project server 2002 I am unable to
connet through PWA or Project Professional. I get the following error
page in IE.

HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error
Internet Information Services

Technical Information (for support personnel)

Error Type:
ADODB.Recordset (0x800A0CC1)
Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested
name or ordinal.
/projectserver/Library/pjquery.asp, line 658

Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)

Page:
GET /projectserver/Home/HomePage.asp

The hotfixes that I applied are KB823333 and KB823959...

Any help would be appreciated.

You got this error because you installed the Project Server related hotfix and
did not run the SQL script that gets updated. The SQL script is WEBSPS.SQL
and should be located in the default directory that Project Server installs to.

You will need to run this SQL script through Query Analyzer and run it
against the ProjectServer database. Make sure you select the ProjectServer
database from the dropdown menu located on the top toolbar.

If you don't do that then you won't be able to log into Project Web Access, or
Project Professional.

This information is generally given within the readme file that comes
package with the hotfix.

Hope this helps,
