... After I protected my worksheet, some cells can be changed...

I applied some protection i a worksheet and most of the cells work propoerly.
I can enter data where I want to, I'm restricted from entering data in some
cells, my formulas can't be changed except in two columns of cells.

I have two columns of cells that have a simple formula, =$N$2 ,
besides that the cells are formated for percentages. I can click into any of
the cells in these two columns and type anythin I want.

Is there an issue with protection when using =$N$2 or percentages.

I double check the worksheet protection and the lockedness of the cell.

Unprotect the worksheet
select the cell
format|cells|protection tab

Make sure Locked is checked.

Then reprotect the worksheet.

(Locked cells don't really do anything until the worksheet is protected.)

Dave:

Thank you. I thought I had done that, but somehow I had overlooked those two
columns.

I hate when that stuff happens, too!
