After installing Office 2003, should I delete Office 2000?

I keep getting requests from the update site to update Windows 2000 yet I am
using Windows 2003 (Win 2000 came on this machine). Should I update , should
I delete Windows 2000, or should I just ignore the request?

Depending on the edition your Office 2000 and Office 2003 could contain a
different set of applications. Normally, during installation of Office 2003
you are asked if you want to remove older versions. If you choose yes, only
older versions of Office 2000 applications that were also included in your
Office 2003 edition are remove. If a Office 2000 application, such as
Publisher, FrontPage etc, was not included in your Office 2003 edition the
application is left intact.

You can safely use Control Panel, Add/Remove Office 2000 or any Office 2000
family applications that you did not remove during installation of Office
2003 or no longer need.
