after installing office 2007 spell check doesn't work.

i installed office 2007 and spell check will run but doesn't find anything. i
will mispell things on purpose and it can't see any mistakes. i just
installed Office SP1 and that didn't fix it either. any suggestions?

Which Office 2007 edition (Standard, Professional, etc.)? In which
Office application (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) does spell check not
work for you? What language version of Office 2007 do you have? What
language are you trying to spell check? What version of Windows?

Office 2007 Enterprise. All applications have the same problem. English is
the language installed and which is trying to be checked and i am running XP
with SP2.

I will run the spellchecker and it says no mistakes found no matter how it
mispell things.
