After Oulook 2003 upgrade email doesn't get synchronized anymore for offline working

I upgraded from Outlook Xp to Outlook 2003 (with the rest of the office
suite). The upgrade went fine.
However my email doesn't get synchronized for offline working anymore.
Although checking the folder settings doesn't show anything unusual.
The last emails I see when working offline are prior to the office upgrade.

Any ideas?

Well, I have some more info.
It looks like that the F9 function has an issue. Although all my folders are
checked in the synchronization settings, F9 doesn't seem to synchronize.
If I do a "this folder" manually it actually synchronizes this folder.
Why doesn't it synchronize all folders and with F9?
