AFTER SENDING AN E-MAIL IT REMAINS IN MY OUTBOX EVEN THOUGH IT AC.

when I send e-mails from my microsoft outlook the e-mails remain in my outbox
even though the actual e-mail has been sent? It just started doing this
without me ajusting or doing any changes to my outlook.
Help?
