After Splitting Database, them what?

I have split my database and saved the tables to the server. I can access
them from my computer (Computer A) but can not from other computers (B, C,
etc.). How do I get the forms to those computers and to link to the tables?
I am using version 2007 and it is loaded on all systems. I am new at this so
simple step by step instructions please. Thanks

You now have a back-end (table - place in central location...ie server) and a
front-end (forms, query,....).

simply distribute a copy of the front-end on each computer you wish to
access the db. Each computer should have their own front-end. Do not use a
common copy.

Question for you, Have you implemented security?

Thanks for your help. I got it. Where I had a problem was that the system
has different drive letters for the server on the different computers so when
I copied it over it would not access the back end because it designated the
wrong drive. I went to each computer and did a split from the original copy
leaving one copy of the back end on the server.

Note that you can use a UNC (\\server\share\folder\file.mdb), rather than a
mapped drive (E:\folder\file.mdb).

To do this through the Linked Table Manager, find the back-end database
through the Network Neighborhood, rather than finding it via a mapped drive.

You have been of great help. I relinked it through the network instead of a
mapped drive. It works. My boss thinks I know what I am doing. :) .....

Please note that Tony is not worthy of writing queries for a living

and for the record, I never claimed to be a MSFT employee, kid
