after upgrade issue

I have upgraded from office xp to office 2003 using the
uninstall and install method. After doing this, Outlook
2003 duplicated my smtp account. So now I have:
Mailbox: User
Mailbox: User

The optoin to remove the second box is grayed out, and
now I get a "cant send/receive" everytime I send a
message, but the mail does go out. How do I get rid of
the multiple mailboxes?

Try creating a new mail profile (Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>New).
Include your current account and PST in the profile.
