Aggregate / Count Deliverables

Is there a way to report the aggregated count of deliverables?
That is, while a GANTT chart shows the deliverables/milestones for eac
row, is there a way I can select a summary task and automaticall
calculate that the selected summary task has 5 milestones?

I tried to use the "count" on the pivot table generated by Excel usin
the MS Project 2007 Visual Report, but was unable to do so.
