Albertus Font Help??

Hello everyone hopefully someone can help me. I am taking an online
course for college and typing a paper that must be in Albertus Bold font.
But I cant find that in Word 2002 at all. Anyway I can add it in or get it?

Albertus is not supplied with any Microsoft products. Albertus Medium, Bold,
and Extra Bold are supplied with some HP LaserJet printers, notably the 4
and 4000 series, so probably a lot of office users have access to them.

If this is a course requirement and it's not public domain font, then I
would contact the school for the font since it's a requirement. Who knows,
it may only be suggested style... or it may be treated the same as other
required course material and need to be purchased. In either case the school
or the instructor should be able to point you toward a good deal.

But, I can't imagine trying to read too many pages in that font though. Good
luck...

I can't either. My first reaction is, this must be either a joke or a
mistake. Failing both of those, maybe whoever was dotty enough to make
it a requirement wouldn't notice if you used a font that looks *sort of*
like Albertus. Can't think of one offhand, of course.

Seriously, I've never heard of a school, business, government agency,
etc., *requiring* a specific font that wasn't one of the 3 or 4 most common.

My reaction was very similar to yours. LOL Stranger things have happened.
The closest I've experienced is somebody specifying serif or not and style.
I suppose one could use something such as Times or Courier and say that's
the best match there was on their system.

If this is a genuine situation and acquiring the font is out of the realm of
possibility then one might want to meet with the instructor and explain the
situation and try to work out a compromise.

However, as the others have said it is a decorative font and I would loath
to have to read more than a couple of lines of text in that font.
