Alias email address question

Please tell me if this is possible.

I need an email to go to a certain email box. But, since it's an email on
another domain , I want to set up a shorter one that I can tell people to
email to. But, when the email is received by the original box, it must show
that is came to that original email address, not the shorter one.

Example:
External email address:
(e-mail address removed)

I want to tell people to send emails to:
(e-mail address removed)

But, when the email is received at
(e-mail address removed), it needs to show that is came to
(e-mail address removed) not (e-mail address removed)

Is this possible??

Thanks!

Joey

It all depends on the mail server, the client really has nothing to do with
it.

This is Exchange Server.

Yes, it's possible, you just add the shorter address as a secondary SMTP
address on the mailbox.

If you don't know how after looking at the Exchange System Manager, you'll
want to go ask in the Exchange newsgroups.
