alias to pwa

Hello,

Since a few weeks , i installed project server 2007, everything works fine.
Project Web access is possible via http://servername/pwa
I want to make an alias to this website, for example http://project
Is this possible ( DNS , IIS ?)

You can use an Alternate Access Mapping (configured in Central Admin) to
create an alias ie http://projectserver/pwa. You will also need to create a
DNS alias which points to the web front end server(s).

If you only want to use a root url such as http://projectserver, you will
have to re-provision PWA to use a host header. see my blog entry

Hello, tx for the infon i find these settings under "shared szervices
information" but cannot change them.
Everythng is grayed out,as admin i have the necessary rights to make
changes,


Any suggestion?
