I was trying to make a map and I wanted to write in the names of the streets
vertical, I think I may just give up. Thank you for your response

If you want to rotate the names to align with the streets, you should use a
program that can do it easily. If you have Publisher that is the program to
do it with. Simply type in a text box and then click on the text and drag
the green handle to rotate the box to the direction you want. You can do
the same in PowerPoint with a text box off of the drawing toolbar. Not easy
to do in Word at all.
