Alignment in 2 sided printing

K

Keith

Hey there folks

I'm trying to do the following without much success:

One page 1 of a 2 page document, I have a bordered text box aligned to the
far upper left margin. One page 2, I have an identically-sized text box
aligned to the far upper right margin.

Printing one page at a time, turning page 1 over and printing page 2 on the
back, my goal is that they are perfectly aligned and can be cut out along the
borders with a paper cutter.

However each time I have tried this I seem to be small fractions OFF
alignment, on the horizontal plane.

I have even gone into 400% zoom and NUDGED until at least on-screen the text
boxes and the margins match up exactly (1 inch).

Um. What am I doing wrong?

This is your printer shifting the paper, not an issue with Publisher. It's
is virtually impossible to *perfectly* align the reverse side with the front
side, especially with manual flipping.
