Alignment of slide in a slide pane in PowerPoint

Greetings! I have a PowerPoint presentation where some slides appear to be
aligned or justified at the left edge of the slide pane whereas most slides
are centered in the slide pane. The difference is a bit of a nuisance. How
do I change the particular slides so they are all centered in the slide pane?

As Sandy says any object outside the slide will do this even if it has no
fill or line and is therefor invisible!
