I use the outlook calendar to let people know that I am planning to be away
from the office for a few days. To do this I send them an "ALL Day Event"
meeting request with "Show time as" set to free.
This then shows a reminder at the top of their calendar on the day that I am
out.
One problem I have with this is that it shows up in their calendars as
"tentative" until they accept the request. This stops others from inviting
them to meetings on that day.
Is there any way to stop this meeting request showing as tentative in their
calendars until they accept the request?
