Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003.
New Dell computer two days ago, running Windows XP SP2 on Win 2003 network.
One of 11 identical computers; the other 10 are working normally.
No problems for first 24 hours. Now, whenever user clicks on a folder, the
existing emails appear, and then are immediately deleted. Sometimes a
dialog box pops up asking if you want to permanently delete these messages,
sometimes not. If the dialog does pop up, clicking No, dismisses the box,
but it immediately pops right back up. Of course the user clicked on
nurmerous folders in her Mailbox and in Public Folders before reporting the
problem.
I can restore the missing email, but what the hell is happening? I have
company-wide virus scan running right now.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
