all gmail date was transferred to outlook and now can't even open

follow directions in "Use Outlook with Google Gmail" and it wiped out date in
gmail and transferred it to Outlook BUT I can't open it. The only thing
gmail will do is outgoing mail.

can you be more specific about what happens when you try to open and what
"date" is that you transferred?
