Yes, I use a pocket pc and a palm but those have been syncing for
years with no problems. I make regular backups with the pocket pc. I
don't sync the palm very often, but it does have the same information
my pocket pc does because it is set to receive only not sync- so I
know it is not coming from a device malfunction. My devices up until
a day ago had my calendar intact so the problem had to have come from
the pc.For my devices to be missing the calendar indicates the
problem came from outlook being wiped out some how.
Nothing else is missing just calendar items. I have already looked
in the ususal places like deleted folder and there is nothing there.
My device syncs regularly and has encountered no problems. I do have
auto archieve enabled for some folders with prompt so I know when I
archieve. I only archieve a couple times a month and the last time I
did my calendar was still intact. My archieve folders show nothing of
my missing calendar so it is not there.
I have tried a system restore and that didn't work either. My husband
thinks it is a virus or hacker. I am scanning the computer with
Norton now. Are there other steps I can take to check for missing
data other than I have mentioned.
Extremely unlikely that it's either a hacker or even a virus. I still think
the most likely cause is your handheld syncs - I've never tried to run both
ActiveSync and Palm sync against the same data, but it sounds like
Activesync may be the issue. What version, and have you tried
microsoft.public.pocketpc? If the data is on the PocketPC backup, you may be
able to get it back.
You should make regular backups of your data - all of it - just in case this
sort of thing happens again.

Only calendar items? Nothing else? Is autoarchive enabled? Do you
sync to a
handheld? Anything in your deleted items folder?
Do you make regular backups?
