All my drawings show as black on screen but print normally; why?

When I draw a diagram using different coloured lines it appears as b/w on
screen. it does print in colour though. Have \I turned something off/on
that I can easily change? I am using Word 2003 and Windows XP Home Edition.

You might check Windows Control Panel | Accessibility Option and make sure
that the box for High Contrast is not checked.
