all of a sudden none of my message rules work

Is it possible that something has happened to turn off all my message
rules?. They look like they are all on and in place, but they don't stop
anything. Any help is appreciated. I'm using Office 2003 and Outlook of
course.........Peter What is that little icon in actions, that shows a

That means your rule moves the messages from one folder to another.
