All of my new appointments disapear in Outlook 2007 Beta2

I love the new Outlook in the Office 2007 Beta2 but whenever I create a new
apointment either by using the menu or double clicking on the day after I
fillout the form & click on "Save & Close", the new appointment automatically
disapears after about 30 seconds. I'd love to figure out how to fix this so
I can continue to evaluate the new Beta. Maybe it's configuration related
but I have not found it if it is.

Thanks!
Mike

Disappears from where? Have you tried a different view?

Sorry for not providing enough details. :~)

The new appointment disapears from the Calendar view in Outlook regardless
of the view I select. I am using Outlook in Cached Exchange mode in a
corporate environment.
If I use the Exchange Web interface to create new appointments for my
calendar they remain when I view my calendar in Outlook. However when I
create a new appointment in Outlook it appears in the calendar view after
saving it but after about 30 seconds the new appointment vanishes from the
calendar view. I checked the deleted item folder and it is not there. I
also did a search for the new appointment but could not find it.

Thanks for the reply
Mike

Do you see those "disappeared" appointments in OWA by any chance?

There is no configuration setting that could account for this behavior.

What version of Exchange? Have you tried it with a non-Cached Exchange mode profile?

Hello & thanks for you reply,

When I go to OWA the "disappeared" appointments are not there.
I beleive IT is running the 2003 version of Exchange Server.
I have not tried using a "non-cached exchange mode" profile, I will try that
next.

Thanks

Very strange. I don't have any explanation for that behavior, nor have I seen any reports of similar problems. I'll post back if we learn anything more about it.

In the meantime, if you want to provide feedback, get the Send a Smile tool from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A2E1F4E2-BC0F-4403-B09F-7A677D55F274. What I have found is that if I change my profile to not use Cached Exchange
mode Outlook is unable to connect to the Exchange server. Also I reviewed my
syncronization erros under folders & found an error for each appointment I
entered that had failed to upload to the exchange server. The error was
insufficent permissions to complete the syncronization. I will try to capture
the exact error text tomorrow at work.

Thanks again

I'd suggest creating a new Outlook mail profile with Cached Exchange mode and using that with Outlook 2007.
