all of the apostophe's in a message look like ’.

i'm using outlook 2007 and when i write an email message everything is fine
but when i get responses from someone all of the apostrophe's in the message
turn into ’. so the following sentence "I'm leaving work now" turns into
"I’m leaving work now"

Your sender is probably using Word to compose the email. Word uses "smart
quotes", Outlook is converting them to a symbol.
