all of the sudden can't open webs

I'm using fp2003 on xppro and all of the sudden, when I open fp and then
click on networks/localhost - it wants to ask me for username/password to
open localhost!! If I say cancel, then it says I do not have permission to
access the web folder location. I can also NOT open any webs 'live' - it
says "documents in this folder are not available. The folder may have been
moved or deleted, or netowrk problems maybe preventing a connection to the
server".

I CAN open websites from My Documents/My Webs ... so I'm assuming there is a
problem with my 'network' - whatever that is...

Not sure if this has anything to do with it - but my MSN doesn't seem to be
able to connect either.

can anyone help me? I've clicked on the 'detect and repair' .... didn't help

thanks!

ok, just posting the answer in case anyone else has the problem - seems like
it was the automatic upgrade to Explorer 7!!

here's the fix:

After upgrading to Internet Explorer 7, FrontPage is asking for a
username and password when trying to publish back to my computer.
Follow this sequence to stop FrontPage from asking for a username and
password when publishing back to your "localhost" folder.
In this order, navigate through the menus:
Tools
Internet Options
Security
Local Intranet
Sites
Advanced
Add and add http://localhost to your zone
Uncheck "require server authentication"
After adding localhost, it will appear in your websites list
