All office Applications go into "not responding"

I have recently installed office 2007 and had it running properly for about a
month. In excel, word, outlook and access when i try to do anything in these
programs : print, save, bold lettering, send emails, adjust sheets, etc. it
hangs up. I installed the add-in tools program to help me navigate using the
2003 tool bars in 2007 office. Could this be a problem? What can I do to fix?
