all settings wiped out

A while back I got the Page X of Y bug after downloading
a MicroSoft security Update. What I didn't realise at the
time was that all my default page settings were also
wiped. The UK English spell check was replaced with US
English, A4 page size was changed to Letter, margins were
altered, smart-tags and other unwanted auto-features were
turned on etc. I changed all these back and saved them as
the default template. But I didn't notice that my Print
Envelope button was gone. It took me ages to get the
envelope settings just right and attached to the document
template so that I just had to click the toolbar button
and now I can't remember how I did it. Is there anyway I
can recover those original envelope print settings?

Hi Graham,

Sounds like the DATA key in the Registry was reset to
installation default. If you never backed it up, then no,
there'd be no way to get this back.
