Allow any resource to complete a task

What's the best way to schedule these tasks? I have 5 devlopers tasked with
developing 40 webpages. The designs for the pages will be provided to the
team and team members will grab one from the top of the pile, develop and
test it, then grab another one. If resoruce 1 is faster than resource 2,
he'll develop the pages faster, etc.

As the project rolls on, we'll add perhaps another 20 pages and one or two
more devs as needed.

I have each of the webpages, along with 4 subtasks for each, in the schedule
and am preparing to assign resources.

How do the experts recommend I do this to permit flexibility yet accurately
track progress?

Shawn,
Probably the easiest thing you can do is create a resource set
consisting of the 5 developers - call it "webpage developers". The Max
Units should be set at 500%. Assuming only one developer works on any
given page, assign one developer (i.e. 100%) That will allow any of the
5 developers to work on any webpage.

The fact that one particular developer is faster than another has
nothing to do with the assignment, unless you want to go back to
assigning individual resources to specific pages. The "speed" of
development will be reflected in the % Work Complete when the file is
statused.

Hope this helps,
