Allow Project Managers to see All Projects?

Hi - we do not want our Project Managers having access to the Admin menu but
we would like them to all see everyone's projects in the Project Center. Is
this possible? I set them up as Project Managers and gave them the category
"My Organization" which I thought was a step up from "only sees projects
where they have tasks assigned" but that was not the case. They are only
seeing their own projects.

Help?

Actually, you do not need to move the PMs into another group.

All you have to do is go into "My Projects" category (which is associated
with the "Project Managers" group) and scroll down to:

"Projects: Select the projects that users in this category can view"

and pick the radio button for:

"All current and future projects in Project Server database"

Viola! All your PMs can see all current projects and any new projects that
are uploaded. (Of course, this button works for other groups too, so you can
do this as you needed...)

That's it! Thanks.

My preference on this would be to not modify the definition of the category
but to modify the permissions associated with the project manager group.
The group, by default, is assigned to the My Projects category and the My
Organization category. On each of these associations, specific permissions
are given. Since you are looking to give permissions related to all
projects, you should modify the permissions for the Project Manager - My
Organization association (as the My Organization category includes all
projects). You should see a list of 14 permissions including such things as
"See Projects in Project Center" and "See Projects in Project Views."

If you modify the definition of My Projects to include all projects, you may
also be impacting some other groups (e.g. giving resource managers
visibility to all projects in the project center).
