Allow Sort in Protected Worksheet

What am I doing wrong???

In Excel 2002, you are supposed to be able to protect a
worksheet, but still allow users to sort the sheet. I go
to Tools, Protection and check the box to allow sorting,
but it still won't let me. I can get it to allow for
AutoFilter, but not sort. Why not???

Make sure the all the cells in the range you want to sort are unlocked.
