Sort comes to mind, depends on the application you are using to view the
list.

Office XP is a suite. Suites contain applications, for instance there is
Word, Excel, and Outlook contained in Office XP. You may even have
Access. Any of those applications can provide the data that comprises
your "mailing list". As mentioned "Sort" comes to mind. If you open the
application the data comes from, press F1, and look up Sort, you will
retrieve a list of links that provide assistance in using Sort.
