Alphabetical Sorting Order (97 vs XP)

Hi All,

Thanks in advance.

I group customer with a prefix "SAG-XXX" and "SAG-XXX".

In Office 97, the sorting order is what I want:

CustomerCode
==========
SAG-A
SAG-B
SG-C
SGA-A
SGA-B
SGA-C
SGB-A
SGB-B
SGB-C
SGC-A
SGC-B
SGC-C

But when I upgrade to Office XP, the sorting order becomes:

CustomerCode
==========
SG-A
SGA-A
SGA-B
SGA-C
SG-B
SGB-A
SGB-B
SGB-C
SG-C
SGC-A
SGC-B
SGC-C

Does anyone have any idea on how to correct the sorting?

Yep. The sort order was changed with JET 4 (Access 2000 and later use JET
4).
