Alt uses for the Office Assistant

Okay, so other than Help, can we make the assistant an actual assistant? If
I were to use this thing I'd would like it to remind me of tasks,
appointments, meetings, filter my email through junk, personal and important
business.
Is this possible? Is someone doing code for this?
