Alternate data label

Does anyone know how to apply an alternate data label to a
series other than the series name, value or category.
Ultimately I want to take a bar graph of a treatment-
response per compound and add a label per bar based on the
calculated p-value.

You can use Rob Bovey's XY Chart Labeler to add the labels. It's a free
add-in that you can download from his web site:
