Alternate Row Shading with Filter

H

Hadders

Hello. Newbie in the room. But generally know my way around Excel. I'v
got a spreadsheet with a large number of rows (circa 10,000) and circ
38 columns. My data doesn't start until row 9 with headings an
spreadsheet titles above. I've setup a Conditional Formatting formul
rule but it doesn't survive a filter. There are a number of suggestion
I've found in various places but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get this to work?

Cheers

select the table from A9 on => Conditional Formatting => Use formula =>
=MOD(SUBTOTAL(3,$A$9:$A9),2)=1
and choose your wished backcolor
