Alternatives to Java Applets

BigBlueMan

I'm a novice at web design, but maintain a site for an organization.

More and more people are having trouble with the JAVA Applet I used for the
menu. What are the options for having something that's slick and
attractive, but not to use Java?

Thanks!

CSS is pretty much trouble free. You can present some really
attractive websites/menus with CSS and I think you'll find them
easier to manage and set up once you come to acquire an
understanding of how to use CSS.

The above link provides a really fantastic description of how
to use Pure CSS to do what most folks do using JavaScript.

And for some other really nice web-designs that are sometimes
more beautiful than practical: http://www.csszengarden.com/

For CSS references: check out http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/.

You can also use JavaScript for some easy conversion of Java
depending upon how complicated your Java Applet is.
