Hello,
I created an Infopath form and published it to my SharePoint
envirnoment where users can fill in the form.
In the "Forms Library" I have set the option that the forms must open
in the browser and not the in the Infopath (thick) client. It works
prefectly. It opens the form in the browser and saves the result as
designed.
But links to a (filled in) form, on other pages, still open with the
thick client.
ex.
- the links to the form item on top of a workflow.
- the links to the form item in the task list.
My questions
- What happens if the user doesn't has the thick client installed?
Does it open in a browser?
- Is it possible to always (so even the links on other pages) open the
form in browser even if the user had the (thick) client installed?
Thanks,
Wout
