Amending Charts in Word

Does anyone know a good resource about amending charts in Word.
We have constant problems and I have not found anyone at Microsoft that
knows anything about Charts. I am specifically talking about Charts made in
Excel or Power Point etc and then copied into a Word document. I then want to
amend the document in Word.

You should be able to just double-click on the chart and open it in MS
Graph.
