amending text in forwarded e-mail

Outlook automatically inserts my name [bracketed, italicized & bolded], when I insert text over the original message. Is there any way to turn off this annoying feature?

Tools-> Options-> tab Preferences-> button E-mail Options-> option at the
bottom

Go to 'tools' - 'options' - 'preferences' - 'email
options' and take the check mark out of mark my comments
with
