AMPERSAND SIGN IS NOT APPEARING IN THE HEADER,?

Please help, ampersand sign will appear when I create the header, but when I
preview the header it will not appear.

An ampersand & is a special control character when used in
headers and footers. To display an ampersand, use two ampersands,
&&.
