Format hard, reinstall ms office, update SP had been done. Still received
below error message when opening/ working on ms offfice application including
word, powerpoint, excel, access & outlook. Below are the error message:-

GDI typically means the printer driver or perhaps the video driver is
the problem or incorrect. Try reinstall of correct drivers.

How about other error message? How do solve it? I had get another error
message Winword - This program has performed an illegal opearation and will
be shut down. After I press enter,"WINWORD caused a general protection fault
in module KRNL386.EXE at 0001:0000ac95. What does this mean? Later on, it
came out message "The system is dangerously low in resources! Would you like
to terminate the following applications?

How about others error message? Another new error message "winword - this

The only sure way I know is to retire that poor Windows98 computer and
replace it with something more current and capable. What have you done
as far as updating display and printer drivers?

Bob,

Early when pc having all this error message I had format hard disk. But it
came back & i chage the whole CPU. After change new CPU it came back again. I
didn't install any additional programs. Any idea? Can microsoft solve this
problem?

Start by posting your question in the Win98 group. As I said before the
errors indicate there is likely a problem with the drivers for the
printer and or video card. Microsoft can't solve the problem with your
computer. You have to put in the correct drivers, Microsoft can't fix
your wrong drivers.
