An error occured while initializing MAPI...

I am trying to export my messages from Outlook Express 6
on Win 98SE to my new pc with Win XP. When I choose file-
export-messages-yes, I get an error saying "An error
occured while initializing MAPI". I have no other
programs running. Any ideas?
