Hi

We have server Windows 2003 and on it SQL server and analysis server all
with SP3. I'm connectin from internet to them using PWA or MS Project. I'm
getting one promt for domain account entry and then PWA page. Everything
works well but...

If i am loged on localy on my computer with account the same as on server
domain tehn i can use portfolio analyzer or create view for it. But when i
am logged with different account localy it won't work :(( I'm getting
multidimension connection dialog when try to view portfolio analyzer and i
need to enter server name for analysis server and accoun with password if i
use HTTP connection (it is writen in dialog), but when i enter OLAP
administrators account it gives me "the user could not be authenticated"

What the problem here?

Sorry there was no SP3 for AS installed, but still i can't connect and now i
event don't get dialog .... :((

With AS Manager i can't connect at all. I get "possibel data corruption" or
"access denied or sql server doesnot exists".

But i can connect with demo application, i noticed that it uses MSOLAP
provider and AS Maneger shows that it uses SQLOLEDB.1. Any ideas?

Analysis server refers to Windows accounts as regards rights, in addition to
PS server. Therefore you should go to the Analysis Manager, go to the Project
Server Cube, and give the rights on the Portfolio part of the cube (the
virtual part of it) as a User to the win account you want to use. You also
need to give this user the right to use Analysis from Admin side of Project
(you can use admin or Director group).

Hope this helps
